Sand patterns.

Before finding the trail, we noticed this pattern in the sand. It was everywhere. It was just high tide, and our best guess was that either a worm or clams made it.


Here we are on an old trestle. Unlike the US, the Canadians believe in personal responsibility and we were allowed access to cross the river between the beach and the trail, which extended on in front of us. We were told that this location is a favorite with the area's kids to jump off of and into the river below.

Here we are further on the trail. We've taken off our outer layers as it was quite pleasant. We were "amazed" at how level the rail was.
